Abaya Export Quality Control for International Orders | AL RUQIU
Abaya Export Quality Control for International Orders — Practical insight from an Ajman abaya manufacturer on planning, sampling, quality, and delivery.
Define the export quality standard
International abaya orders are easiest to receive when quality control begins with an agreed reference. Keep the approved sample, measurement chart, material card, colour swatch, decoration artwork, label files, quantity table, and packing instruction together under a revision number. The goal is not to promise that every garment is identical in a vague sense; it is to define acceptable measurements, workmanship, appearance, and presentation for each SKU.
Inspect identity and material first
At production checks, confirm style number, colour, fabric, lining, and size before judging surface details. Compare the fabric with the approved swatch under consistent light and look for shade variation between rolls or panels. Check opacity and hand feel in the finished garment, not only on a loose cutting. If a substitute is proposed, hold the affected production until the buyer records whether it is accepted, revised, or rejected.
Measure the garment systematically
Use a measurement table that names each point and tolerance. Check a representative spread of sizes, not only one sample, and record actual values beside the target. Useful points may include body length, sleeve length, shoulder, chest or sweep, opening, cuff, and any adjustable closure. Photograph the tape position so a remote buyer can understand the finding. A measurement deviation must be assessed alongside movement and silhouette rather than hidden by a size label.
Review construction and decoration
Inspect seams, hems, sleeve joins, openings, closures, thread finishing, symmetry, and pressing. For embroidered, beaded, or stone-work abayas, examine motif placement, density, tension, attachment, underside comfort, loose components, and abrasion risk. Check both sides of a decorated panel and the area where the garment folds. The approved artwork should show placement from stable reference points; “similar” is not a measurable release instruction.
Labels, packing, and export evidence
Confirm brand label, size, care information, fibre details where required, country-of-origin wording if applicable, hangtag, and SKU. The importer or local adviser should validate destination requirements. Count pieces by style, colour, and size, reconcile them to the packing list, number cartons, and photograph the sealed shipment. Note carton dimensions and weights used for the booking. Keep inspection findings, corrective action, final disposition, and release approval in the order file.
A useful international release
Separate accepted, corrected, and held units; do not let an urgent dispatch erase the record. The buyer should know who approves exceptions and who handles any receiving discrepancy with evidence.
Set the receiving response
Set the receiving standard before the shipment leaves: who counts cartons, which units are sampled, how damage is photographed, and when a discrepancy is reported. Share that process with the factory and forwarder. A written handover gives every party the same opportunity to protect the order. AL RUQIU can work from an approved abaya quality file for sampling, production checks, packing, and shipment preparation. Clear references reduce surprises without pretending that one generic checklist replaces the buyer's destination responsibilities.
