Abaya Brand Name, Labels and Packaging Before Manufacturing — Use this guide to plan specifications, production decisions, and a dependable abaya supply

Set the identity before fabric is cut

An abaya brand name, label, and packaging are production inputs, not finishing touches added after sewing. Confirm the brand name and its availability for the markets you intend to serve, then establish the visual identity that should appear on garment labels, hang tags, online pages, and cartons. Decide whether the first collection feels minimal, occasion-led, heritage-inspired, or contemporary. The identity should support the abaya's customer and price position.

Create a label and care specification

Prepare the main brand label, size label, care label, and any origin or fibre information needed for the intended destination. Use one spelling, one logo version, and a consistent size system. Check the actual fabric and decoration before finalising care instructions; a stone-work abaya may require different handling from a plain daily style. Ask the manufacturer to provide a physical proof or sample placement and retain the approved file with the style record.

Make SKUs work for receiving

Give each design, colour, and size a readable SKU. A useful code can identify a style family without forcing staff to memorise every detail. Build a table containing SKU, product name, colour reference, size, quantity, barcode if used, label version, and carton destination. Use the same values on the quotation, packing list, website, inventory system, and customer-service notes. This prevents a beautiful label from becoming an operational source of confusion.

Design packaging around the garment

Decide how the abaya is folded, protected, tagged, and shipped. Embellished surfaces may need tissue or a protective sleeve; a soft daily abaya may need a simpler package. Test the packed sample for creasing, abrasion, moisture exposure, and easy opening. Specify the bag, dust cover, carton, sticker, insert, and quantity per carton. Keep presentation premium but practical for warehouse handling and returns.

Approve proofs before ordering print

Review logo size, label position, care text, language, colour, hang-tag information, barcode, carton marks, and contact details on physical proofs. Ask a second person to check spelling and SKU matching. Do not approve a printed run from an outdated artwork file. If the brand changes its identity after labels are ordered, record the affected stock and cost instead of silently mixing versions.

Check the customer journey

Open the packed sample as a customer would. Confirm that the first visible information answers what the item is, which size it is, how it should be cared for, and which brand made it. Make sure packaging can be removed without harming delicate work and can be stored or reused sensibly. A consistent unboxing is part of the product promise.

Hand over one brand pack

The manufacturer should receive the latest artwork, measurements, label map, care information, SKU table, packaging diagram, approved sample, quantity, and required date. AL RUQIU can use that pack to discuss private-label abaya production in a controlled way. When identity and packing are prepared before manufacturing, the customer sees one coherent brand from the first garment to the delivery carton.
